Well, as you probably know by now we decided to take a basic flyball class with Savvy. After looking around we found The Woof Gang Flyball Club in Garden Grove and attended class with Savvy.Savvy seemed to be a natural at flyball, while not the fastest dog out there she is among the most consistent. She was relatively easy to train because all she wanted to do was to get her ball and bring it back to me.
In November 2007 Savvy debuted in Ramona running her 1st Singles races.
Savvy again ran singles at Wags Arizona and then we went back to Ramona in March 2008 where she ran on the team for the 1st of many times.
As of July 1, 2008 Savvy has run in 12 U-Fli Tournaments and 4 NAFA Tournaments and she has received her TF-III title inU-Fli and her FDX in NAFA. This video was taken during a tournament in Ventura where Savvy was the start dog all day.
We are planning on attending Wags in Chula Vista on July 11, 12, 13 but are not planning on racking. Savvy is thinking about entering in Novice Toss and Fetch Disc Competition and from there we will be going to the TNG and Lickety Splits Bishop Bash Tournament in August, should be HOT.
